Do you remember useless application called I Am Rich cost nearly $1000? Purchased by 8 curious rich and lucky (?) aristokrats (Six people from the United States, one from Germany and one from France) before Apple remove the App from iTunes Store. It's function was exactly what the name implies: to alert people that you have money in the bank. Once downloaded, it doesn't do much -- a red icon sits on the iPhone home screen like any other application, with the subtext "I Am Rich." Once activated, it treats the user to a large, glowing gem. That's about it. For a thousand dollars!!!

Yet another face detection app!! It looks like this is going to be the next type of photo app to flood the AppStore. They all seem to do the job well, so it looks like it will be price and look of the apps interface (UI) that will win the day., and I have to say, this one does look nice.

Playboy launched its official iPhone app last week. I'didn't try it yet but following of other users the playboy app is a mobile version of the magazine with its classical features ( Playboy Interview, Playboy Advisor, Party Jokes etc.)
