Apple's finally unveiled the iPad

After nearly a decade of rumors and speculation, Apple's finally unveiled the iPad. Apple says there's room for a third device between the smartphone and the laptop, and that it has to be better at tasks like browsing, email, photos, e-books, and videos than both -- netbooks, says Steve, "aren't better at anything." It has a large touchscreen keyboard.

What will Apple Unwrap on January 27?

After weeks of hype and hoopla about Apple's event that was suppose to be held on January 26, the company has finally confirmed that the event will be hosted on January 27. Via an invite mailer, Apple has conveyed that it will announce its "latest creation" at the Yerba Buena Center of Arts Theater in San Franscisco. No information about the event except the location and the graphics art was sent across by Apple to select Tech websites.

Who is Steve Jobs? 20% of Britain Don’t Know! (VIDEO)

I wouldn’t like to insult our regular readers of TFTS but for those out of the know who are wondering who is Steve Jobs, you guys should know that he’s the co-founder and chief executive officer of Apple. What’s up with that you may ask? Well after reading a report that two in ten people in Britain don’t know who the guy is, we decided to shed some light for those who’re trying to find out.

A recent small survey carried out last month in London by Lewis PR revealed that only 200 out of a thousand people in knew who Steve Jobs is. Proving just how interested is the UK in the IT sector or signaling a major image problem, 10-percent of those questioned think that Steve Jobs may be working for a trade union, while only 5 percent think he’s a a Division Two football player.

App Store Apps Finally Gets Better Pages

With the launch of iTunes 9, Apple revamped many of the areas of the iTunes online store so that they were rendered with WebKit, the open source web layout engine (which browsers like Safari and Chrome also use). Alongside this, the whole store was redesigned. But one area that remained untouched were the pages for individual apps in the App Store.
